Teach private pickleball lessons and group programming, then run the leagues and mixers that go with them. You would also put on tournaments and special events, keep the courts and equipment clean and in good shape, and join sales work with the membership team. The lesson load is heavy: you would teach on court for an average of 30 or more hours a week.
They want one to two years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong customer service and communication skills. Certification from IPTPA or PPR is preferred within six months of hire, and CPR and AED certification is preferred too. You also need to be comfortable with all age groups and able to lift up to 50 pounds. If you want most of your hours spent on court, this part-time role puts you there.
