Coach the boys and girls tennis teams at a high school. You would teach fundamental skills, strategy and physical training, and advise the assistant and middle school coaches. You would also help the athletic director schedule tournaments and events, mentor athletes on grades and conduct, and look after team equipment.
You need a teaching or coaching certificate, or the employer within 45 days of hire. Current CPR and First Aid certification, a fingerprint clearance card and previous coaching experience in the assigned sport are required. Several NFHS online courses are also required. The job covers both the boys and girls teams.
